Roman Perdec
|
|
Vice President
|
|
A strong foundation in electronics and the ability to listen to the customer were
just two of many assets Roman Perdec brought with him to the Hamsar management team.
His commitment to put customers first and a belief that the end product should be
as good as your word have helped to shape Hamsar’s “make it right” philosophy.
Looking ahead, Perdec sees that diversification will continue to be a Hamsar strength.
With it will come new technology, new products and the impetus to propel the company
into the future. “The most dangerous thing is thinking that you know everything”,
says Perdec. “Education based on experience is invaluable and allows you to be more
proactive for all your clients.”

Garrie Eloriaga

|
Plant Manager

|
Garrie’s engineering background brought him to Hamsar in the early 90’s, but the
combination of education and experience gained by working in departments throughout
the company is what has given him the skills he uses so successfully today. He heads
a workforce that comprises a high percentage of long-time employees with very little
turnover - an enviable accomplishment for any manufacturer.
When asked to comment on what he thinks are the company’s strengths, Garrie quickly
identifies two defining features: Hamsar’s ability to consistently maintain efficiency
and quality, and the ongoing evolution in electronic capabilities which always seem
to be in place to support the next generation of lighting innovation. “I’ve seen
a lot of changes over the last fifteen years, but the last ten years of changes
in lighting technology have helped us to achieve tremendous growth – across product
lines and in sales overall. For instance, when LED came into being, it was an easy
technology switch for us, because we were already set-up to make the electrical
components that were needed. The two sides of our business- lighting and electronics
– really compliment each other.”
